About Me

Hi, I’m Rachel and this all came about after my 4-week-old daughter Matilda was diagnosed as having a Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy. As soon as I found out, well actually even before hand, I started googling Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy in babies like crazy and if I’m honest I haven’t stopped googling since, especially once it was time to wean. Although there is a wealth of information out there, I have had to cross-reference lots of websites, articles and medical journals to get all my answers. It was very time consuming but vital for having a baby with an allergy to Cow’s Milk Protein. Knowledge is power. My research enabled me to fight Matilda’s corner and, in some cases, even advise medical professionals about where to go next.

I am not a doctor and have no medical background. So, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your local GP, Paediatric Dietitian or Health Visitor.

This website is just a collection of information of what I have found, along with my personal experience of raising a baby with a Cow’s Milk Protein allergy, devised in the hope that it might help others out there going through the same thing.

You can read more about the beginning of our journey in my first blog post How it all began...

Thanks for visiting

Rachel xoxo
